Camberwell garden

The addition of a garden room and a kitchen extension meant this back garden had shrunk over time. Limited storage had meant a lot of visible gardening clutter, and where the planting looked lush in mid summer, a lack of structural planting meant the garden looked very bare at other times of the year.

Our brief was to add some structure and year-round interest to the planting, and to adjust the current layout -  presently the path runs directly from back door to garden room, feeling like a runway!

We included a new pond, some bench seating to incorporate storage, and off-set the path, making the journey through the garden, more important than the end destination.

Included are the moodboard images, designs, scroll to the end for 'before' images
